Eligibility: Individuals who have full-time faculty positions at Michigan State University are eligible to apply. The intent of this grant is to provide seed funding to foster new areas of research and new collaborations on campus.
Description: The purpose of this CRIS RFP is to promote new areas of research and collaboration between members of Michigan State University faculty to focus their research strengths on cutting-edge areas of ingredient safety research. Grant proposals may be in areas described above. The goal of the RFP is to enable investigators to generate a sufficient body of preliminary information for a successful application for major research funding from a national granting agency. Compliance with MSU and CRIS policies: By accepting CRIS funding, researchers agree to comply with all training policies, including RCR training and cross-disciplinary education for graduate students involved in the project. Failure to comply with these policies may affect eligibility for future CRIS funds. Recipients of CRIS funding
are also expected to participate in CRIS science communication activities.
