MTRAC AgBio Funding Opportunity
The Michigan Translational Research and Commercialization (MTRAC) Innovation Hub for AgBio is the first in a series of specialized statewide commercialization programs with in-depth domain expertise in specific areas of research. Translational research funding to accelerate the commercialization of high potential AgBio technology is available to innovators at institutions of higher education, non-profit research centers, and hospital systems throughout Michigan.
Individual project budget limits are up to $100,000 for Full Awards and $25,000 for Starter Awards. AgBio MTRAC eligible projects must relate directly to applications in the agriculture industry and/or bio-based materials (includes companion animal veterinary medicine).
